We welcome Jenny Thomson, who has been seconded from Grant Thornton to the CDSB Secretariat.
Jenny has over 6 years’ experience of advising and auditing. She has been with Grant Thornton's Financial Reporting Advisory Group until Ferbuary 2016, and has since been involved in a variety of work such FRS 102 conversion projects, client technical workshops and providing technical advice on IFRS/FRS101/FRS102 and UK GAAP accounting issues.
Her audit experience includes supervising the group audit of clients across different territories including Asia, Europe and Australia, and working with local auditors in these territories. Jenny works with a number of the organisations including Interserve as well as a wide range of large privately held clients and private equity backed businesses. Her experience includes commercial organisations in the manufacturing, services and retail sectors.
She trained with Grant Thornton and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2012.
