Online summer workshops: Improving climate-related and environmental disclosures

Applications are open for Germany-focused online summer workshops organised in cooperation with UPJ and CSR Europe

Date: 27 May 2020 // 04 June 2020
Time: 9:00 - 12:30 CET

Climate-related and environmental issues are increasingly part of mainstream disclosure as companies face growing investor demand for decision-useful information that is necessary for driving sustainable financial markets and accelerate efforts towards a low carbon economy.

Several initiatives and policy measures have emerged in recent years the most prominent being the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosure recommendations (TCFD) and the EU Non-Financial Information Directive.

Despite these developments, the market cites a need for improved quality and quantity of disclosure by companies on climate and environmental issues.

Apply to attend one of two Germany focused online workshops on enhancing decision-usefulness of climate-related and environmental information.

The workshops will provide participants with an in-depth understanding of the TCFD recommendations and policy developments. Participants will analyse case studies, apply principles in the context and learn from peers.
